EMOTIONAL WELLBEING & RESILIENCE TRAINING FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH CANCER 

Friday, August 14th, 2015 10am - 3.30pm 

This one day workshop is designed to provide those living with cancer a greater understanding of the effective options when it comes to emotional wellbeing, health and healing, along with the necessary skills to achieving personal resilience in times of illness and recovery. 

Come along and learn techniques that will literally change you brain in order to be more emotionally resilient, optimistic and motivated to tackle the inherent challenges that we face during our journey with cancer. This workshop will cover mindfulness meditation, attention training, finding purpose, and communication skills. 

As a behavioural change expert, Jeremy Limpens will provide easy to do scientifically proven methods for dealing with anxiety, depression, sleep problems, fear, uncertainty, frustration and the like.....All he needs from you is a sense of curiosity and willingness to try something new. A slight shift in the way we think, can have a profound impact on how we experience life, no matter what the circumstances.

  • Individuals recently diagnosed with cancer
  • People living with cancer
  • Partners, family and friends of people with cancer
  • Parents of children with cancer
  • Health care professionals, carers and support people 

Participants will go away with effective strategies that will assist them deal with the inherent emotional, mental and physical challenges during their cancer journey, 

Cost: $15/person or $20/couple
